Working out whether and if so where to carve a little bit more on this stamp to  suggest some feathers. I printed a couple of test prints of this stamp and used graphite’s reflectivity to help me figure this out. (I don’t have a white pencil with me and this does erase rather nicely, as it turns out.) Tilting my page back and forth to make it visible/less visible, then erasing/editing and trying again. Then tried using the iPhone and tilting that instead of the page!

It kind of worked!

Wow, that stamp looks HUGE. In reality it’s the size of one of those smallish post-it notes, about 1.5 by 2 inches. 

I wanted to post this to you guys first, but I don’t have a Vimeo account and I don’t like YouTube…  But now I’m on my laptiop and it turns out I can put in the instagram link!

Um… but testing it …. I am SO not sure that’s going to show up correctly for you. Is the patreon site trimming it to rectangular? 

Oh well. 

Not to mention that I don’t really know yet how to make videos.  So much to learn!

Luckily, I then made a bunch of cards  so I didn’t spend the day feeling only curiously clueless. The cards are selling in a small steady trickle, so my To-Do list includes now “find more places to sell them”. Yay!
