Sketchbook // Shovelling

Two snow days in a row, and the kids are getting enough sleep. Soon they will both be taller than me, no doubt. Yes, they help shovel too 🙂

And then the weekend. I think I’m grateful this past week to work one weekend day! It’s in many ways much easier than shoveling snow, although likely not as heart-healthy.

In the ongoing screenless computer news, the laptop didn’t want to communicate with a new screen either. I am grateful to the folks at the computer shop, who didn’t charge me for the screen they ordered and now have to return, nor for the labor of looking into this.  It’s onto searching for a new laptop (concurrently, we’re in need of a new stove, and lining up four different kinds, no five, of medical appointments for various family, from basic vision care to anticancer, whee, all at the same time. That said, on Thursday (snow day #1), various people shared a ton of kindness, supportiveness, and encouragement, I was was blessed with great coffee (thanks to my husband for our new coffee carafe on my birthday!) and I finished a couple of old bits of work, so onward is all.
