Mystery Mail for July // Old art, new tattoos?

I’ve been wanting to experiment with temporary tattoos for a while. I used some older (probably pretty familiar to you now) vivid drawings and paintings—I’ve been doing so much linework and black and white work that I didn’t have new dragons for this yet.

I used Silhouette temporary tattoo paper, an inkjet printer, and cut them out by hand. Not super efficient, but easy (once the digital image layout print file was cleaned up enough). I also think I should make them smaller.

I did find that they were very easy to apply and lasted much longer than I had expected it would (over a week; I had expected about 1-2 days).

I used the brown dragon on me, and sent the hayfever imp and the unexpected present ones off. The others are available. Let me know if you’d like to try one, or want to suggest another illustration you’d like to see me use!
