There are some artists whose work is so precise yet so organic, so rich in details and yet doesn’t overwhelm me…. scientific illustrator Laurel Mundy is one of them. I love her points of view, her obvious love of sharing the world around.  From her work, I try to learn steadiness of practice, variety of scale, and a great use of contrast.
