And go through weeks of insufficient drive and consequent hiccups in reaching for goals…. Still, that cycle keeps rolling so I’ll work hard when I can.\u00a0<\/p>\n
My dear family gave me inks for my birthday last winter. Lots of lovely colors. I spent a wee bit of time on YouTube looking at painting with inks and especially how to clean my brushes after. (Early, often, with gentle bar soap, apparently, unless you have fancy brush cleaners.) Bottle caps make handy inkwells if you don’t have a palette handy. More colors are coming!<\/p>\n
So for those birds I’m trying layers of ink on three different watercolor papers (hot press, which is pretty smooth, cold press, which is nicely bumpy. The small square is Arches brand, and I’ll have to go check the other two and tell you later.\u00a0<\/p>\n
