[** Update: downloads are archived after two months—or more—so patrons have plenty of time to access them. Sometimes it’s much longer! I removed these over a year after posting… I’m make the post public when I archive the downloads, so more of you can see the idea and the process. Feedback welcome! —Kir, November 2020 **]

Continuing the Elements Band, here’s the Saxophonist.

Previously in this series:
Guitarist (Fire Bard)
Horn Player (Cloud Song)
Drummer (Earth Tones)

Two to go! (the Water Harpist and the Rhythm Witch).

Er yes, I do have more elements than Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Ooops?

I think the thing is that messing with Gaussian Blur and Level and Channels—maybe there’s both more and less information than needed? Because sometimes there are fine details and sometimes not? This one’s blur might’ve been too big (see the ghosting in the preview?) but I rather liked the effect when I went to color it anyway.

I’m catching up! Huzzah!

Enjoy your weekend, everyone.
